Bleta"Bebe" Rexha an American of 29 years old, native of Brooklyn. She has parents named Bukurije Flamur and Bukurije Flamur. Her father immigrated to her home in the U.S. when he was 21 years old. The Albanian language, the word blete translates to "bee" which is why she stated "My family is Albanian and people started calling me Bebe in short form." After signing to Warner Bros. Records in 2013 Rexha received songwriting credits on Eminem and Rihanna's single "The Monster" (which then won the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Performance) in addition, she been credited with songwriting on songs performed by Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas.
