One example of this can be Lexi Thompson who looking at her age begins to wonder what she did to make it big during her time in the game. What is it about Lexi Thompson that makes her amazing? Did she practice golf from the beginning of her life, or was it something that helped her become a great golfer right from the beginning? Alexis Thompson is his birth name. Amanda Thompson is his mother and Scott Thompson is his father. Her ethnicity is white and she is an American due to her birth. One could say that Lexi is a descendent of golf skills from her father because he used to be a golfer who started playing in a young age. Later, he became an instructor of golf after he quit playing competitively. Lexi's two older brothers whom we will discuss in the subsequent paragraphs have also been professional golfers. Lexis went to homeschooling throughout her senior year of high school. In September of 2012, she received acceptance into Louisiana State University, where she is pursuing a diploma. Born into a family of golfers Lexis could not have been a player who was not used to playing male-dominated sports. In her early years she started playing golf, and aged 12, she was the first female to become eligible for the US Women's Open. The competition was not won and she finished second in that year by winning the Aldila Junior Classic.
